HOW TO HELP MAUI

Maui Support & Relief Resource Center

X

We are heartbroken by the recent fires that have devastated parts of the island of Maui. Our hearts go out to all of those impacted and we offer our deepest sympathies to the families, friends and loved ones of those who lost their lives. Sadly, the loss of life extends into the Troon family.

The health, safety and well-being of our Troon Associates on Maui remains our top priority. Like many members of the Maui community, our Associates have suffered extreme hardship, including the loss of life and the total loss of homes, cars and personal belongings.

Many have asked how they can help the Troon Associates at Kapalua Golf, Ka’anapali Golf Courses and The King Kamehameha Club who have been impacted by the fires. Currently, there are two direct ways you can support Troon Associates in Maui, including:

The Troon Cares Associate Relief Fund remains a source to provide assistance to all Troon Associates facing significant financial hardship, including from the Maui fires and those affected by other catastrophic events or hardships. We will be assisting our Maui Associates in applying for relief through the Troon Cares Associate Relief Fund and donations can be made directly through the Troon Cares Donation Link. These donations are tax deductible.

The Maui Strong Fund is a general Maui relief fund (Hawai’i Community Foundation) to which donations can be made that benefit Maui as a whole. The tax treatment of these donations is as set forth in the site.

Any support for the Maui community is greatly appreciated. We encourage you to please share these links with friends, family and associates.

The Hawaiian word ‘Aloha’ is more than a word of greeting or farewell. It can also be used to mean love, compassion . . . and extending warmth and caring with no obligation in return. At this immediate time of need, and in the coming months when need will remain, we strive to embody the full meaning of this special word and wish to express ‘Aloha’ to our Troon ‘Ohana’ and the entire Maui community.
